@@yellowbusguy I’m looking at getting a school bus and just converting it. But I’m mostly looking at a 2005-08 with the VT365. But I saw this and brought back some childhood memories of our towns old busses. We had major transmission issues with our 2003 ICs. My bus specifically. When it went from 2-1 and banged so hard.

The bus was bought in 2003 and had a C7 and then it got sick in 2014 and was replaced with a 6.7L ISB

We have a similar setup. We'll have route review day where you can come in and look at the route book. That is followed by two days of route selection and you go according to seniority. It's done late July or early August.

Our inspections are done about every six weeks. They are "A", a basic safety inspection, "B" includes an oil change, "C" , Nut and bolt checks, oil change and finally a "D", which is every fluid and filter, complete brake tear down and inspection, nut and bolt, engine bay steam cleaning. Oil changes are done every 10K.

yellowbusguy in my district it happens every 3-4 weeks and can take a day sometimes a week or month depending on what happens to the bus and it’s age I love the 1st gen ic ce they are a bit dirty especially with the leaky air conditioners that have cracks in them but there starting to put those off of spare duty I just got a 2008 as a spare and am wondering what happened to bus 20310 or any other 2003

My compound doesn't have any of that model. There aren't very many around, I don't think we bought many that year.

I gave that bus back in exchange for the '99. That Freightliner was a pile of garbage. The 2003 is now a spare bus and no one wants to drive it, it's usually one of the last ones assigned.
