Stan I ran into the same problem, I also have a 2002 Chrysler town and country touring trying to replace factory speakers. So many wire don't know which goes to + or - terminal.

@@thequietstorm89 i have a lxi, each speaker has a amp attached to it, i bypassed the maps the color of wires are the same as in the dash.

That same speaker is not working on mine. You did not explained if its blown.

I was showing how to remove. And yes in this van the speakers all where blown. And 3 out of 4 did not work.

@@StansAuto83 ok, mine is a 2002, and it looks like I have to take that whole rear paneling off just for the mids, not sure if I want to.

Rene R. Yes I believe you do. That’s the bad part about those vans lots of stuff in the way of most repairs.

@@StansAuto83 my ac compressor is bad makes alot of noise, to fix ac they are asking for 900.00 that's too much for me right now.

Rene R. That’s actually pretty cheap. Since there’s a lot of work done to replace the compressor.
