Back in March of 2022, FDNY Rescue 1 was running a 2002 Saulsbury (Former R3) as a spare due to a shortage of spare rigs. This is likely one of the last times this rig will be in service. R1 has since returned to their frontline Ferrera.
They are shown responding (with PA300 sirens) to Manhattan box 997 for a reported stove fire on E.66th St on the Upper West Side. While the box was not a 10-75 (Working Fire), it was within the confines of Rescue 1's first due response area.
