The re-roofing of Panera has been ongoing for weeks. It appears that a worker with a torch messed up while sealing or soldering something. I'm glad the fire didn't spread.

Boston Fire the best FD. A 4 bagger knocked down in just over 2 hours. Water-on fire within 5 minutes from when the box was first struck. Not when first engine company arrived. I was monitoring on Broadcastify and heard the box come in. I love this lady dispatcher’s voice for several years now. Operator 24 She remains so calm all the time. Wish I knew her name. Anyone know? I used to live in Boston next door to Engine 40 years ago. Was friends with many district chiefs, officers and Jakes. Miss all those guys.

One of the most uneducated comments I've ever seen on KZfaq. "Overkill with the water"!!!??? Obviously your only experience firefighting you have is what you have seen from your couch🤦♂️ Much rather surround and drown than have a rekindle with those exposures on top of one another. Or send crews into a building under construction with many unknown hazards. That's how Firefighters get injured or worse, LODD's. Chief made the right call going defensive after conditions deteriorated. Looking at the head start it had and how deep seated the fire was it was definitely NOT "overkill" with the water.

When I read about the place it made me wonder about what the responders would face. A fire in a former clothing and limo service; there could be cloth, some related machinery, and leftover car maintance items that are flammable. Like a fire in a self serve storage warehouse; you never know what's burning.

That was my apartment that burned 🔥 I lost everything I owned in that fire and the landlord was yelling at me and was supposed to put all of us tenants up and didn't do shit so they will be sorry😢

I'm glad to see there is a second camera covering these fires besides Udizzy. He can't stand to have his beloved department criticized so he blocks commentors who don't kiss their butts. Hopefully you will be different. 0:50 That water is pretty much accomplishing nothing. No Line of Sight on the burning material. Have they made entry at another location? 1:20 More Fountain Statue Firefighting. How much water does one spot need? 1:40 Get off your butts and go find the burning material and Then apply water to it. 2:40 All that water and the fire still rages. 4:15 Fountain Statues not firefighters. Do you know how Worcester is now preventing LODDs? They aren't doing anything other than being Fountain Statues while the city burns. 6:30 When the flames are turned off, that's when you get off your butts and move to a different location. You surgically apply water; you don't just squirt it.

I’m a big fan of the quote “I may not like what you have to say, but I’ll defend to the death your right to say it”. So while no, I’m not gonna sensor any comment, I encourage you to remember the camera will never tell you the full story of everything going on, and why certain command/operations decisions are made.

Not quite sure, it was in service for a working fire two days before, but as far as I know they've been in Engine 7 ever since.

All I know that I've seen a church by me after lighting set the church ablaze. I hope they can rebuild the church. I hope someone save all the stained glass to rebuild them. I also hope no one was injured or killed from a blaze like this. Very sad to see.

I remember all the stupid comments armchair firefighters made about the video. The building was old wood inside with stucco outside fire in the walls and roof. Firefighters did everything they could to save the building it was a losing battle sadly.

Hopefully there were no injuries to anyone related to this incident, I've seen a couple of churches burn ( including the one that I attended as a child. Thank you to all firefighters everywhere for protecting the citizens of your coverage area.
