Thank you SO much for this video!! It took me roughly 10 to 12 minutes from beginning to end. I paid $12 for the master switch. I was able to replace it with absolutely no hiccups thanks to your easy step by step instructions.😇

These switches have tiny LED lights in them that fail. I've autopsied several of them. The LEDs don't burn out, but it's the power contacts that fail. Inferior soldiering process. Lots of Fords use this same switch. Grand Marquis, Crown Vic, Expedition, etc. Great video.

Thanks so much for this video, helped me a lot! I have another problem though and was wondering if you had a video on it..... The motor under the driver seat is sounding like its off track when I go to put the front of the seat in the upper position (better for lower back). Is it possible it can get off track or do I need to replace something under there? if so, what & how? Thanks again for you video's thay are a hugh help!!

I have an 04 f150. the passenger side switch does not light up but the window works. could it be the lights are out on the switch itself?

Hi Maku can you do a video on power windows trouble shooting on the newer style windows like the 2009 Flex (7 Pin motor) I have changed my master switch and my windows are still stuck down checked fuses and door wires. The driver window has a micro processor that I can't figure out how to manual overide it up either winter is coming I need to fix this window Thanks

How about a faulty lock button on driver's side door? I replaced it with a new one, didn't work, tried another new one stiff didn't work. Got to assume it's not the button. What could that be?

Victor Shu Oil catch can on this vehicle? I only recommend them on the ecoboost engines.

Another great video as usual. My '03 Exploder has had lots of issues with the door latch switch. It will fail or jam in a position that falsely tells the dashboard lights that there's a "Door Ajar". Could you do a video about that issue sometime?

***** Yeah there was allot of door ajar switch problems back them and wiring problems in the door jamb also.

@@FordTechMakuloco, I’m having the same issue after a big freeze here and had to move the bracket into place to make a secure connection. However, I’m getting the intermittent problems with the “door ajar” message coming up. Also, I’m hearing an exhaust leak from my manifold gasket and looking to replace it with a new JBA shorty headers. Full disclosure: I’m aware that this will not add any additional horsepower to my 2003 Ford Expedition (4.6L). I plan on installing a new throttle body and cold-air intake to the vehicle and wanted to remove the catalytic converter to run straight pipes out of the manifold to my new dual-in/dual-out muffler. I realize federal laws do not allow this, but I don’t live in a state that enforces the clean-air standards with emission standards. Interested in hearing your recommendation on installing a new bracket system to hang the exhaust and supplies.

Brett Peterson For the clutch just drive it normally for the engine make sure you drive at varying speeds i.e. no 5hr road trip at 2k rpm cruising. Also I would change the oil at 3k mile or less for the first change.

I have a 2006 Ford Expedition xlt I have a problem with the windows the both passenger side windows they go down but they don't go up and I checked all my wires and by the doors all good and even I changed the bottom switch for the windows the one by the drivers side and passenger I appreciate if you can tell what it is do you think it's a fuse because I checked

If I was going to buy a 2nd gen Expy 2004 would be the last year I would look for because it was the year that they introduced the 3V engine.

I have 2003 expedition and I had a problem with my battery clamp post/pole at positive that some how is cause an interior short circuit? None of my gauges are working, no windows power and no interior lights and stereo not working either? Can you help me figure out how to troubleshoot problem please? thank you

Ismael Minuto check the fuses there located in the passenger side foot well right side.

these newer fords that are being built have all types of wiring issues it seems like ive had a 2014 expedition rear wiper motor didnt work, 2014 escape rear video camera inop, and a 2015 ford fiesta hatchback rear hatch didnt open, it was a short to ground. all this in 2 weeks

@@VincentALoera Makuloco has a video on how to get that window to close. What I learned is that rain can enter the window control panel and start to corrode it. Makuloco recommends either applying pressure on the control button or tapping it hard until it starts to work. I hope this answered your question.
