Thank you, this was very helpful! Just changed mine - the motor and the linkage. My replacement part had linkage that was bent, and initially the motor couldn’t make the full turn. So if you’re changing yours, be aware that the linkage has to recess into a hole in the frame rail in the driver’s side corner, and if the linkage gets bent during shipping, you’ll need to bent it back so that it matches the original you take out. I hope this saves someone a few minutes!

Just what I needed for info to replace the linkage mechanism on my daughter's car. I switched out the existing motor onto the new linkage. Later saw a video suggesting to buy and switch out the arms only. Oh well, job is done and working great! So glad with all this rain in Vermont summer 2023.

I have a 2006 Honda Accord, the wipers are inconsistent and hit the chrome trim on the windshield. I bought that assembly online for $160, Auto Parts store wanted $300 ? Great Video, Thanks ! 👍

My wipers slam on the way down. Do you know if that would be the linkage or the motor? My guess is the linkage has gotten loose over time but unsure how to specifically diagnose that.

i had my wind shield replaced. since then, the driver's side wiper exceeds the range of the glass and extends onto the body (on the up swing). can this be corrected?

What kind of tool did you use to pull off those clips?
