This is a 2003 Honda VFR 800. Very clean and fun bike! I had the chance to take this bike out to see what it had for power and speed. Runs great and pulls hard! Hope you guys enjoy.

You need to seriously go past 6500rpm !! Vetch wasn’t even kicking in for most of this video!!

Maybe the engine was too cold when they filmed it, it needs to reach like 65-70 C before it activates

We didn't properly warm the bike up, planning to film the bike again. We will certainly let it sing this time!

Awesome lookin' machine! I'm riding one myself, exactly the same as yours, bought used, 2003 and low mileage model ;) Nice to see and hear someone else pull away on it, I'm only ever hearing it from the first person point of view ^^ Are you gonna make a little longer video on it? Because I hope so, this might sound kinda stupid, but a 2 minute-video about my favourite type of engine, the V4, just makes me crave for even more :D

Wow, really nice video, I wonder if I could use part of this clip in a compilation video about classic superbikes? Of course with your credits on it and link to your video for people to visit your channel. I always like to ask first, thank you so much!

You missed the most magical sound this bike makes. At 7000 rpm’s two more valves open per cylinder that’s when the music really plays. (V-tec)

People saying vtec never kicked in must have never owned this bike. It kicked in every run he had, which kicks in at 6800 rpm. I've had my 2007 for 6 years now and have 53,000 miles on it.

A guy once said his Viffer was better, than my late beloved fuel inj.650 Bandit??, Not a chance, Bandit gets to over 80 mph, before the red line in 2nd gear very quickly, obviously 3rd before that,MENTAL TIMES. 4th gear, 6,500rpm., said 92 mph, Actual 89, ??? Red lines at 12,000, WHAT NO WHAT NO, YES. Original 4 into 1, NOISY, talked the talk, but it did wallk the walk. 58, 59 times more biking joy, than in 84, my nearly new Kawa.750 turbo, and it was Special, enjoyed all it had to offer, but for Total biking joy, Bandit Time, Perfect Storm of ACCELERATION, FEKKIN time Capsule, Vortex scenario. 19, 20 months of BLESSED Bandit Time, Times, got a PhD Masters Degree, in Bandit Torque Enjoyment only, nothing technical Sadly now a semi retired crazy Mad Banditateer fekkin Banditaholic, ruined for any other bike. and I ain't even lying. yours Scott Loch.
