No idea. Just a knob to change speeds is all I knew at the moment lol. Sold it awhile ago.

Not a Hydrostatic, which is a good thing! Gear transmissions are far less trouble and will give you better service, for a longer time, without costing you much! Let’s face it! It’s a lawn mower! How much luxury do you really require to cut your grass? Keep it simple, cheap, and effective! If taken care of and stored out of the weather, a little machine like that can serve you well for a long time!

@@brianandrews7099 for straight up and down rows maybe. Tight yards with lots of obstacles and reversing and a normal gear gets old very quickly.

@@LMDProductionsOfficial nah, regular transaxle driven lawn tractors can last 40 years plus if maintained. Just Change the transaxle oil. 80-90 weight.

@@MichaelDodge29 it's only 20 years old I have a 1980s Briggs and Stratton and it starts up quicker than that n it's original everything n hey if you still got it clean off the piston that may help it fire better
