My first mustang was a 2001 performance red v6 auto. other then a cheap SR performance cold air intake nothing else was done to the engine itself, it came with GT wheels and 1 stripe from front to back which I took off with a heat gun along with the white mustang letters, I bought smoked lens and a mach 1 grill, I bought two quarter window louvers I paid extra to have the paint match the color of my ride and bought rear window louver (black) I painted the panel between the taillights black yeah and I also bought black taillight covers, also painted the lower bumper valance black myself with peeling coat spray can to same me some money, I bought the GT hood scoop paid to have it painted the color of my ride as well then in stead of buying the black hood decal I used automobile tape and outlined my own hood with it then painted it matte black. I sold her :( bought me a zinc yellow GT 2001 V8 now Im modding it..so far I have AIRAIDE Cold air intake, and 78mm BBK Throttle body intake, next is steeda under drive pulleys and Off road X-Pipe

Though my paint isn't as clean, my V6 looks practically identical. Hope to duals on the near future, though I didn't cut my springs to lower it. I was thinking about blacking out what I can, but I'm not sure how they would look with my chrome 18" saleens

Is this the same car (in another video) that you cut the springs on the rear one coil but the front were rusted and lost about 3/4 coil so you didn't cut at all? This would make sense that the front is a little higher since you didn't do a full coil. By the way I just got a 94 V6 manual with dual exhaust. It's Opal Frost with grey cloth interior and 17x8" GT style rims. Looks pretty similar to this car. There was a Jet Performance module on sale. So I'll see if it helps the HP and throttle response any. Over all it's pretty clean in and out.

I have an 04 v6 did you have to do anything to yours to put on the saleen wheels. Is the Boldt pattern the same and will it throw off the speedo?

Rule number 1. Never lean on an open car door. I thought it was funny that the dude drives away on the exhaust sound check. V6 is the way to go these days at $5 a gallon. I have two gts... one is cammed and Im always in my v6. Cammed gt is like having a gas leak... gas gauge seems to barely be moving always.

Nearly identical to mine. Tip, lose that plastic liitly pony on grill. Looks meaner as a intake port. LOSE THAT PONY PLEASE! Put something black over it to see the difference. Then just snip it out of there. SNIP IT! SNIP IT IN THE BUD. - barney fife. You can thank me later. 😃
