I think this is good idea. My 2004 blue book is only around $2000. Almost 20 years old, who cares at this point. Do it the easy way. I will give it a try this weekend. Stupid truck only eats money.

Thank you. I have a 2017 crew cab 6.5 with fuel quantity gauge all over the place. I tried another gauge cluster, no improvements. Tried the Chevron gas treatment which seemed to make it much worse. I'll cut the bed. Not dropping tank and not sliding bed back. Its my work truck. 👍

I got a 2007 I guess half cab F-150 and I'm going to try this and I'll be back on here to let you know if it works for me I see you in the some of the comments I don't want to say stupid but yeah time and tools doesn't make a difference for some people thanks I think it's good video bro take care and be safe

Unbolt the bed, unplug a couple connections and bed is off!(do it tge right way, unless you drive a POS truck)😂😂

My bed already has a hole cut out for 5th wheel which isn't there, so whats another hole gonna hurt for future repairs.

What’s was wrong with your truck ? Did the pump completely go out ?

My fuel pump was halfway under cab of truck. (Pump was halfway under cab). Cutting access panel was a waste of time. Still had to drop tank. (2007 F150 extended cab.)

With the fuel tank, hoses etc. directly under that part of the bed, it's probably not a good idea to be cutting, sparking.

if you do cut your truck up instead of doing it the right way at least use a sawzall or bodysaw. less chance of explosion.
