It's shaped to compliment the curves and lines of your Mustang for factory style fitment. The vinyl finish is grained to match your Mustang's interior for a seamless natural look, depending on whether you select Charcoal, Dove Gray, or Camel.

You don't need to take off the lower plastic cover, just the top piece. There's also a torque spec. for the seat belt Torx bolt...30 ft./lbs. The CDC kit also comes with 2, 6 inch velco strips used to tie off the convertible cover so it doesn't rub on the lightbar. The instructions that come with the bar are good.

Vid says: "Will not affect the function of your convertible top in any way." ..and yet there are velcro straps included in the kit to tie the headliner up to the frame tighter so they don't hit the bar... and despite the nice build quality of the rest of the package, this method is a bit cheesy and its not specified why this might be necessary, what models etc. Your thoughts Stage 3?

The straps are apparently to help stop the inside vert roof material from rubbing against the lightbar, marring/scratching it.

Does this in turn improve the car's handling? Less body roll because of it? Or is it only for the break light

Do you install the foxbody mustang the same way cause I need help trying to install it.. I can't find nobody one KZfaq to do a video on how to install one on the 1992-1993 foxbody mustang .

While it will be different on the fox body this guide will probably give you a good idea of how to do it. Check the forms, there may be someone who can help there, good luck!
