Ah, the C7. That engine's sound pretty much defined my childhood all the way till the end of 8th grade.

Bus is in incredibly good shape for the age and mileage. Mechanically, engine is a CAT C7 (ACERT), Transmission is probably an Allison 2500 PTS (no parking position and has a starter interlock) with air brakes, air seat, and probably air suspension equipped onboard. Overall they are built to last, and hold up quite well to the rigors of daily use. And I know that firsthand driving them on a daily basis.

Everyone should own a school bus at least once. I am still waiting for my first bus ownership experience. Although I would have to have a short bus! Lol! This is a nice example for a 12 yr old bus.
