I lived in a town where there was a General Motors factory... Actually there was three different GM factories there. These Grand Nationals were VERY popular with the GM employees. There were a dozen or more around that town, mainly because they were VERY good cars that workers could buy much cheaper than list through the employee discount that took a good chunk of money off the price.

I think they're great looking - but the failed Fuel Injection system killed it. If I remember correctly, Actor Gregory Peck bought one and it shut down on the LA Expressway on his way to an Awards Ceremony. Frank Sinatra demanded his name be taken off anything to do with Imperial after widespread reports of Injector failure.

had this exact car w/o the turbo. most fun car i had. it got rear-ended and totaled and i used the money to buy a mustang but it wasn't nearly as fun. the mazda was as easy to work on as it gets too

looks great, I've got the same v6 but it's been off road for 11 years, I've just started to get it going again, will take me time but I'm hopful I can get mine back on the road by next year😁👍
