Seats don't go down. The tray that you can push down to see into the boot is a tray you can use for food/writing if you're sitting in the back seat. The dash storage compartment is only with aftermarket head unit installation. The factory head unit is the screen and below would have been a range of buttons that, like you said, are useless if you don't know Japanese 😂

My car has a weird button on the left side under the steering. When I push it, it makes some kinds of motor sound but I’m confused about it. Can anyone help me?

Zwe Htet that button I think is to turn off the sensor beams when your too close to things? But I’m not sure about yours.

Hahaha it depends on the trim level, not too sure which trim level this one is though. Also, this isn't my car, it's my Uncle's!

@CrackingCobra Hi! I'm not too sure why some car makers decide to put the handbrake in the footwell! I think it might just be for the overall aesthetic of the interior- it looks a little nicer without a giant handbrake in the middle I guess :)

@CrackingCobra Basically that button is to turn overdrive on or off- when you're going up a steep hill and the car is struggling to climb, you would push that button to turn overdrive off so that it forces the car to stay in a lower gear, making it easier to climb that hill. However for normal driving, you'd leave overdrive on so that the car shifts into higher gears. That's basically the function of that button! :)
