The Subaru Outback was the top-selling station wagon (or estate car) globally in 2021, it is favoured in North America in cold climate areas. The Outback use to be the crossover counterpart of the 'Legacy wagon', until it was the brand's separate model not based on any Subaru wagon. The UK class the Outback as an 'estate' but in North America they class it as a 'crossover SUV', some people see this as an SUV but I see it as a 'wagon on stilts'. I like the third generation Outback with some striking design cues e.g. frameless windows and flip-up door handles, an interior which is purely simple, and used a conventional automatic gearbox for all engines.

That Outback is actually the exact same specification as the one my dad used to have - gold with a cream leather interior and the 3.0-litre flat-6 engine. The only difference is the one my dad had was a 2006 on an 06-reg.
