I had a 2005 XLE V6 and now a 2018 XLE V6. I have to say Toyota used to give more options on the XLE and V6 versions than do now, and a big notice on the quality of exterior and interior materials has gone down/cheap (e.g., the amount of cushion for the seats).

These Camrys are so much more enjoyable with a V6. Much more smoother with a V6 engine. They really do pull hard on the highway all the way to 100mph!! I've put the newer Camrys with a 4 cylinder to shame on the road. There is no replacement for displacement! I have a 2006 V6 and this car is so great that I've been looking for a 2nd one! They don't make em like these anymore.

I have a 2005 Toyota camry XLE with the four-cylinder engine it's a great car I brought back in April of this year it only hads 127932 miles it belong to a couple my mother in-law knew over in New Jersey they took care of this car really well mine is the same color as this one but it came with a spoiler wonderful car they are

would you say the v6 makes it a pretty fast car? you can merge into highway speeds pretty quickly? Also going from a red to green light? thanks!

Excllent questions! This vehicle tuns very smooth and runs quiet and has a 3.0L V6. It's much more powerful than the 4 cylinder version, however the Camry's that have the 3.5L V6 motors are fast. If you are looking for a Camry with power, then we recommend a 2007 year model and newer. We hope that this information is useful and please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns. 2003 v6 here jumping on interstate is easy, not as fast as newer ones but is plenty quick. From say 40mph to 80 to merge on hwy it is great. Also for passing 60 to 90 is quick. It is all you will need, faster than most cars from 40 up. Not a drag car but in real life i love my v6 camry. Careful though easy to get to 90 and not know it with windows up. Smooth and v6 has plenty of power for everyday use.

Thanks well i live in Europe (Eastern Europe, Balkan) Here mainly are German cars and kinda rare to find any Camry. I'm used to 1.9 TDi who has been reliable but they are very fuel efficent aswell, But noisey disels and not very comfy seats are what i would wanna buy a Camry, Do you think a Camry 2.4 Petrol would be not accomodating for city driving to fuel spendings (You know europe prices of fuels are way expensive compared to US ones) How much does it spends on City/Traffic driving.

i think you should get a new camera because we are hearing static noise and as a result, the engine sound of the car is lost with the background static noise.
