@talldude123 It could have been imported yes. That explains the heated seats as well. But I'm not too sure. If I remember correctly, the registration documents did say that it was from the VW dealer in Penang at that time.

We have the 2007 model, it's the second generation which is basically the one after this. The entry level model is a 6 speed manual, the SE and the top of the range Altitude models come with a 6 speed Auto gearbox (Tiptronic). The new Touaregs ( every spec) come with an 8 Speed auto gearbox which is also Tiptronic. The addition of 2 gears helps fuel economy. The new Range Rover Sport also has a new 8 speed gearbox and I think the Audi Q7 does aswell. Hope that helps

@maeng97 It's that silver button above the side mirror controls right? Haha. I wasn't that familiar with the car. All I was told was that it had keyless entry. Never figured out where the start button was though. Haha

I am going to upload a video of our 2007 VW 2.5 TDI. It is the top spec Altitude model and it only has 26,000 miles which is nothing at all for a modern diesel. It is in showroom condition and I want to know if anyone would be interested in watching my video?? Because if you are I will tell you once it's uploaded

this engine has 224 Hp, 500 Nm 368.78 lb.-ft.
