Whoa, Manual! so very very few BMW on auction have manual, nice! wow, great Price too for a grade 4, deal! the N52 is so good, it has BMW's Vtec on this model, 3 stage intake manifold, variable cam timing, magnesium block, the 6 speed is really light throw and precise, I have the same combo in my 5 series wagon, been eyeing these 1 Series hatch and Z4's, the value is outrageous from Japan, a shame they're almost all RWD open diff, not many X-drives.

@@ComtechAccount This car was like 260,000yen on auction, I've seen others around the same or 100,000y more. the 135i are more like 700,000y. A 3000lb car with that screaming awesome race-car rad N52 would be awesome.

Oh man these are sick, even here in Europe these are very rare. I drove a 120d and its a fun car, cant even imagine how fun is a 130i. Also this generation doesnt come as a sedan, only 2 and 4 door hatch and the coupe. The 135i only comes as a coupe, no hatch version, this 130i being the largest engine for the hatch.

What's the difference between the 120 and the 130i? They look about the same

I think in the States they made a 128i which was basically a 135i with an N52 instead

Speaking of big engines in small hatchback sized cars I would love to see a Toyota Blade on the channel someday.

I have the same car 130i. I had E90 m3 manual, now have 440i ZF, both are great in their own way but this one is the most nimble and fun except the sus with this M pack is pretty stiff for roads in Canada due to a lot of pot-holes and uneven patches, I think this is stiffer and lower than my stock m3 and 440i, that being said it is indeed the lightest and brings me joy with enough power for 2006, 260HP stock for NA silk and very responsive engine with BMW manual, was just a great combination.

N52 or N53 engines on 128i or 328i models without super ultra low emissions have 230 HP, and can get 265 HP with 3 stage DISA intakes and tune from 330i models. Direct swap and reprogram. Wires are already in the car to plug in two connectors. With aftermarket tune, exhaust upgrades for equal length high flow headers, it can go over 270 HP.

M style OEM steering wheels came standard on US market 2013-2015 X1 series based on 1 series and E9x 3 series. Direct swap.

Always want to buy a 135I of this generation, but unfortunately I have not seen a single LHD one at auction.

I actually bought one 2 weeks ago and love it, only disadvantage is mine is a 6 speed auto, paddle shifts though, I could not justify spending double for a manual one, mines a jap import, it is a great car to drive and would recommend it to anyone, for the price it is great , very nice interior, I can't fault it, a little thirsty 9.5l/100km but nothing is ever perfect.....
