a question ... I have a 2012 Chrysler 200 and a horn when I'm driving I stop at a traffic light I do not know why you could help me give me an idea what I should do? Thanks

My sebring has the same problem.. so the horn needs to be replaced?

I have an 08 Sebring coupe. When you press the horn button on the steering wheel, it doesn't work. Well let me rephrase that, you can push the horn button 30 times and it might work once or twice. In this video you mentioned locking the doors with the FOB. Well ours doesn't have a FOB per say. The actual key has the FOB on the head of the key. Anyway with that being said,if we lock the car with the key/fob the horn honks to confirm the doors are locked. My guess is the horn itself, the clockspring,the horn relay, the BCM, and the fuse are all working as they should. If I am right, the only thing it could be is the horn ring. I think that's what it's called. Any ideas, tips or suggestions? I have already ordered and received the "Horn Ring" . Just haven't put it on. Been working out of town.

I have the same car and the horn doesn't work. I was hoping for Fuse number 8. Just replaced fuse number 2 Under the hood in box, for cigarette lighter and yes it worked. Thank you for your help.

I'm having this issue as well. Are you saying you replaced the cigarette lighter fuse and the horn finally worked?

So if it clicks when i press my horn do i need a new horn or a new rely

Franco Overton check your fuse. If you have good fuse change horn. Relay is OK. Thanks

I have a 2007 Chrysler sebring my horn stop working but it works when I hit my alarm. so do i need to replace my clock spring?

Tashira Savoy If you don't have air bag light on most likely your problem is horn switch.

I have the same issue but exactly the opposite. My horn works when the engine is running but not when I hit the alarm button on the fob

My 2008 Chrysler Sebring sometimes randomly honks and it wasn’t working when I honked but then the honk started working and still randomly honks by itself sometimes. Even sometimes it honks a lot at once when I do a different movement. What can it be?

@@rickwagner3797 yesss it was the fuse box! the entireeee fuse box had an electric problem.

@@rickwagner3797 tell your daughter, if she can, to try and catch it when its honking alot at once and touch the fuse box to see if it stops. thats how i realized the problem, it would stop honking when the fuse box was moved to a certain position .

@@KB-qd9vl great thanks. I’ll give that a try tomorrow. She’s 16 so the car is at home. I just went out to try and at least disconnect the horn until I could fix it permanently but now the horn doesn’t work at all. I have read that the fuse control box might be the problem. She’s having some wired issues with the windows not working all the time and some other electrical issues that come and go so maybe it could be that fuse box. Thanks for the help!

Miguel Leal sorry but no your car is much more complex. Your car has two modules in diagram. Find relay and see if is clicking when you press switch .

Hey, I am having this problem with my 08 Sebring Convertible, it is just going off randomly for a random amount of time. I just paid to get my clock spring changed because I had no idea if it was between the horn switch or the clock spring, the mechanic made it sound like my problem could be the clock spring, replaced for 400. Anyways, I don't know shit about cars and when I went to unlock the car with my key fob, the horn glared again. I can't believe this man, Nor can I afford the next fix for the horn switch (this car is pushing 125k, not sure if I want to shell out another 400 for the fucking horn switch fix). How easy is it to just pull the horn at the front of the car?? Could you help guid me to a schematic of the car? I am having a lot of trouble and really need help. Living in a big city this is straight up ruining my life.

my daughter is 16 and does not like the horn going off in her schools parking lot for no reason lol. Did you replace the switch or did you disconnect the 2 horns?
