​@@CrocodilePictures99 Yeah, there are definitely some "diesel" sounds coming from the cam when cold which is an early sign of the system going bad. Will probably try engine flush and varying oil thickness for fun but even if the sounds remained, people have driven with the sounds tens of thousands or more and nothing worse happening. :)

I had this problem with my 2006 1.6tdci Focus mk2. Bad soldering from factory. I brought it to special repair shop and problem solved.

Hi there! 4-speed automatic is not bad at all. It is reliable and cost-saving, as maintenance is under normal circumstances really no problem. The maximum speed of this car is about 160 km/h which is ca. 100 miles per hour. I admit that the acceleration of this car is not like a sports car - but for the everday usage without special trailers etc. really affordable and without problems! Cheers! :)

Hi @Pavel I! Wow, that sounds really much... But without more information, it is hard to judge... What kind of driving are you mostly doing? City? Cross country? Is the car packed or not? Do you recognize any strange sounds or other things? The only thing I can say is that my maximum fuel consumption was about 9 liters, Autobahn, maximum speed, 4 people, climate control, baggage in the trunk. But we never had 10 liters or more... Sorry!

I drive 50/50 city/national roads, but my average km is 27 km/h, maybe this is the issue, the drive through city, when I bought the car, it had an average of 8.8 l/100 km

@@deadguner1 Yes, the average speed sounds really pretty low... Overdrive in the country lets the fuel consumption drop a lot... Give it a try and let me know what you found out... Cheers!

Hallo! Tja, dann wird es Zeit 😉. Ja, also bei normalen Bedingungen ganz sanfte Schaltvorgänge ohne Zugkraftunterbrechung oder Geruckle. Allerdings nach einer Nacht draußen bei Temperaturen unter dem Gefrierpunkt können die ersten 2-3 Kilometer mal etwas rauer sein, aber mehr auch nicht. Tolles, komfortables und robustes Getriebe. Zu empfehlen! 👍

That is definitively right. I drove the same car as manual, as I had the service done on my own car. The engine, same manufacturing year. Totally different in its performance behavior. No wonder - the automatic is a 4-speed, the manual a 5-speed. Nevertheless, the comfort while driving with an automatic is beyond comparison. Especially when you are planning to use it as a city car. There is nothing better than driving relaxed with automatic. Easy stop and go etc... Let me know how you decide! Cheers!

@@CrocodilePictures99 well currently I have Mercedes ML with automatic which is quite good for stop and go traffic, I really like it especially for it's "hill hold" feature of gearbox. But I also had 'daily' car Skoda Felicia (for shopping within 5km range great, with this style of driving I can still manage 6-7L/100km ) but this one is manual with 50kW, not much but it makes job done, for more sporty ride I like it better even when is old af, and city overtaking is not such an nightmare than in ML (till gearbox wake up, down shifts..).. But currently for same price I can get 2009 model over 2006 with automatic gearbox. Worst thing with old car is you can't try at least for a day if it fits you, because is nowhere to rent, to give you final decision what to get.

EDAY GTR Easy thing: Don’t drive too much 😂. Just kidding... Try to get in the highest gear as soon as possible. The torque converter is deactivated in this mode which means a much better fuel consumption. Cherrs! 👍

Nashaat Salem I don‘t know what exactly you mean. However, if you leave the car and want to close all windows at once, just press and hold the locking button on your remote key. Maybe this is what you are looking for.

I meant to lock the passenger windows for children safety..so i can't locate the windows lock bottoms any where in the car

@@nashaatsalem4117 Oh, now I understand what you meant. This is the very low and wide button which is located below the four bottons for the power Windows, at the driver door side. If you activate it, an orange light will indicate that it has been activated. Check it out and let me know if you could find it and if it works. Would be interesting to know… Cheers!
