It’s hard to argue with youtube throlls , they always seem to have a pessimistic way of seeing things , and they are so fixed on it , thus impairing their learning . I have a 2010 Honda Civic Hybrid, I got multiple misfiring on all 4 , my mechanic replaced all spark plugs $90 bucks on plugs , replaced all ignition coil $600 bucks , and car still have the problem . So I need to look into my crank sensor , or cam sensor . Gracias .

i think the sensor you mentioned in your video was a oil pressure switch

camshaft sensor is not the one you pointed to. if you stand in front of the car facing the engine, the sensor is located on the top right of the engine block, and is inside a very tough spot to work on.

did the car start up after crankshaft sensor replaced?

Hi, you had a misfire code initially. Did you do anything else other than replacing the sensor to fix the misfire? Also, did you have a code for the crankshaft sensor?

it's on top... i believe.... this honda have crankshaft sensor on top and camshaft sensor in the bottom.... for example most of the cars like nissan altima have crankshaft sensor in the bottom and camshaft sensor on top

u got a misfire code, how did u know the crank shaft sensor was the problem when there was no code pointing to it... my civic is idling like it's gonna die at stop . Clean my injectors , fuel trim is great, took throttle body off and clean it, replace spark plug, no codes when it gets hot it gets worst , only thing keeping my car from dying is turning A.c on .. any ideas? My spark is good also

здорова, двигатель K20A....ACCORD 7...такая проблема, слышен стук, похож на стук пальца (на холодную и на горячую, при этом если хорошо покрутить двигатель (понаваливать) звук пропадает)....в интернете начитался что может и распредвалу хана,, может ли из за него (датчика детонации) так стучать... ошибок по датчику нет....провалов мощности нет...наблюдается неадекватное поведение стрелки тахометра (при сбросе газа она сначала опускается, потом поднимается вверх примерно на 200 rp, и вначале при наборе газа слышен звук дребезжания-детонации что ли) обороты двигателя на прогретом около 900 rp, голову себе ломаю, ответь пожалуйста.

Just take your time when you do this I used WD-40 silicone lubricant and 90° needle nose pliers and I had the sensor connected as stated in the video just will go back and forth and be patient it will pop out your car is probably older now this video has aged sometime

Why there is a code for misfire cylinder number one, engine stalls when first started and you jumped right up to the crankshaft sensor defective conclusion ? are there anything i missed? because i will more likely to check the spark plugs before anything else

i don't know what Honda recommends... i didn't do any relearn procedure...Car work great after sensor was replaced... try to buy original sensor from Honda.... cause aftermarket OEM sometimes don't work as they suppose to be....

replace this sensor.... it's located on one of the ac pressure lines close to condenser i guess...
