Kevin-Albert has just fitted a replacement clutch for me. Arrived ON TIME, did a GRET job, left the area CLEAN & TIDY. If all tradesmen were as good as this guy, the World would be a better place. Well done that man. Higly recommended. 5 starts would not be enough 10 out of 10

AMAZING - as always,.... you couldn't pay me enough to undertake such a LOT of detail,.... just to do a clutch,... even in PERFECT conditions inside a heated workshop,... never mind 4 hrs on my back in the street mid-winter !!! - KEVIN - the man & the legend. .

Great car and fantastic condition also. I have one same spec, age, colour, millage etc apart from them lovely red calliper's and mesh front grill. I've been after one of those grills for ages really makes the car even more beautiful. A boot lip spoiler looks great on the GT's also 👍 Lovely car

@@reiannaidoo The clutch was an Excedy kit from ECP. Product Code: 641602010. The clutch was the same make as was fitted to my car. The clutch feels so much better for changing it.

Great job considering you were even doing it on the street. One of my car related pet peeves is when mechanics skimp when assembling everything back together, like leave cables just dangling isntead of securing them back in place. You did everything by the book, it's like the car came back from the factory. I was watching this mainly to see how I could get tho the shifter cable bushings, as I might neet to replace mine in the near future. That air filter box gave a bit of a fight. Again, awesome job.

Hi Kev, great job. I did my Civic last week, but there is no point removing driver side shaft ,passenger side is enough to remove gearbox. One more thing, it's way easier disconnecting driver shock absorber and removing drive shaft, just turn wheels left, and you have enough space between droplink. Anyway, great tutorial 👌

Hi Kevin, great video. Just wondering, I'm looking to replace the clutch on my 2006 Civic, however it is the semi-auto i-shift model. Do you know if there are any differences apart from the electronic clutch actuator compared to the regular pedal clutch manual? I know the clutch kit is different but in terms of removing the gearbox etc etc. Thanks in advance!

79568 miles. Someone's been launching off the lights and racing people. Or don't know how to drive a manual lol. But all the modifications to the lights, and the stickers suggest it's been a boyracers pride and joy.

at 28:19 you removed the gear box. until then you flawlessly followed honda's "disassemble the automobile procedure", but, must have become impatient. there are additional steps required before removing the gearbox. first you need remove left turn signal bulb. next drop car on it's rear bumper from a height of exactly 6.03175 feet. resulting impact must displace front windshield to the lower driver's side corner by .3125 inches or repeat drop until windshield id displaced. finally roll honda over and be sure the horn now sounds like barking Chihuahua. now safe to remove tranny. F me! i would crusher that jap junk before doing a clutch job on it.
