@@EnthusiastCarHangar It's great. It was my wife's idea. We were in the process of adopting three kids and she thought the extra room would help. It did plus the girls love the seat heaters and the rear visors with mirrors back there.

That is true. My kids love the mirrors at the rear in the Mercedes. So much more room in there btw even the vehicle is a bit shorter.

@@EnthusiastCarHangar It is pretty much the same as the carriage roof on your 2007, just in black. I think the contrasting color looks good on my car, but it was not on my list of "must haves." Mostly I wanted a factory sunroof with the tachometer dashboard, which narrowed down my shopping to either a 2006 or a 2007. I preferred the style of the chrome 18 spoke designer wheels, and that is what I got. I would have liked to have found one with the THX sound system, but I can always upgrade.

Same here. I am not a huge fan of the top but I like it. I don’t have the sunroof. I am afraid of the top to wear down or rip.

@@EnthusiastCarHangar The top canvas is very durable - you can find older first generation Town Cars with these tops still in great condition. To keep it nice at least once a year you should use convertible top canvas cleaner with a gentle brush.

Mine has a small tear where someone did something. Very minor though. Do you weatherproof yours?
