Added a little extra stuff with this one. I replaced the filter and cleaned up the surfaces at the end of the video.

I got ripped off by some shady mechanic replacing mine for me for 3600 dollars, he took over 3 months to fix mines and it only lasted me for about 6 months before it messed up again😕. Now im going to try to fix it myself. Thank you for this video 🙏🏼

Thanks for vídeo Im taking mines out to fix it and it’s my project van,the sad part of this vehicle that there’s not many videos about them on KZfaq and is hard to find accessories for them

@@robwillard3453 thanks, people have told me that these mini vans suffer from transmission heating issues, they gonna repair it this week so im buying a new cooler

@@luismartinezz8936 yes, a mechanic tried to sell me a new transmission but it was just the saddle and cooler. It slipped from 3 to 4 gear after around 30 minutes of driving.

Help. 2006 mazda 5, i got the transmission installed and when into tighten the trans ti engine bolts i can bearly trun the engine over.

Did you ever tighten down the nuts from the torque converter to the flywheel? It seems when I do so it pulls the torque converter out of the transmission and leaks.... Any idea how to fix it, maybe a washer?

No way don’t try to customize it. You either have the wrong part or a bad seal. It should come towards the engine SLIGHTLY but shouldn’t leak. Sorry to hear that.

Do you find it posible removing the transmission with torque convertor left on flywheel? I did and installed it back.with convertor still on the engine. A little space but made it work! Great video

I would rather have the car propped high on jack stands. After you disconnect everything up top, to avoid tippy toes. You'll need to support the engine when you separate the two.

Not long at all, maybe 5 hours. That doesn't mean you'll only be charged for 5 hours though. But I don't think it calls for more than 7 or 8 hours book time.
