On my 7th Grand Marquis in last 27 years. Only buy low mile elderly owned "Park Lane Editions". Like I said only car I buy and drive. I average about 235,000 trouble free miles before I get rid of them for another. Great cars!

In my early 40's, and bought an 09 town car about a year and a half ago with 23,000 miles on it. A lot of people thought I was crazy, but I don't care. As a DIY'ER I totally agree with you, I love the mechanical simplicity of these cars and fantastic ride quality.

I cannot believe how clean and rust free it is under the hood. If I recall from the other video correctly, this was a New England car. So obviously it's so no winter driving or very very little driving in the salt.

Someone's going to get one hell of a deal on this car. Doris will be very happy if her Grand Marquis is very well taken care of by the new owner.

I own a 2006 LS and got it in 2007 for $17,000 with 15000 miles, out the door. It now has 135000 miles and looks and runs like it did when I got it. I’ve only had minor problems like alternator, battery, tires that have been replaced. I love the car and take very good care of it. I’m 78 and will keep it until it dies or i do. It’s not uncommon for these to run well over 300K miles. Same running gear as Crown Vic and Towncar. This 4.6 liter engine is one of the best engines ever built and Ford really got it right. I'm in my late 60's and on the threshold of 70. I was 33 when I purchased my first 87 Lincoln TC and I Loved that car! I drove it for almost 8 years and over 200,000 miles and it never let me down! I love the big body on frame rear wheel drive platform cars of that era all the way up to the mid to late 2000's! The ride, quiet and the simplicity of those cars will never be replicated! They are a lost art! I currently own a 21 year old Dodge Intrepid that I bought brand new in 02 and even though if's not rear wheel drive, I've kept it all this time because it's actually been a damn good car and I just don't like any of the new ones that are available today! Someday, having another Lincoln, Caddy, or Grand Marquis is on my bucket list and you will be the one I contact first!!!

I bought the 07 LS today 7/21/23 for 2,500 cash with 240k miles on her. Bullet proof 4.6 V8 , everything still works . Ice cold a/C 240225 miles. Very reliable.

These older Lincolns and Mercurys are fantastic. They don’t have all the stupid electronic Nannie’s to keep reminding you that you’re a lousy driver, but they reward you with a smooth quiet ride, plenty of space and dependability coupled with easy and affordable repairs when some are needed. As for the younger guys posting that they bought such and such Lincoln or what have you …… that’s AWESOME! Buy what YOU like not what impresses your friends. I own a 1970 Continental Mark lll. Are you ready for this one?????? I bought it when I was only 19! Talk about being an odd ball. This was way back in 1985. It served me well for about 4-5 years then I decided to park it as it needed some work. Well since 1989 it’s been off the road BUT garaged and started every few months, I operate all the accessories, AC etc to keep them moving. In this time I have “collected” every NOS Part to restore this car including all the trim, pot metal parts, lenses, wheelcovers etc etc. Plus at least 2-3 spares if things including complete grilles! I intend on getting back on the road by next summer (2024). I’m 57 so I should still have many years to enjoy it!

This car is the definition of "well taken care of"! I used to write down all the gas times/dates/totals, etc with my first few cars, but lately I don't do it. Mostly because I'm not selling my cars until I need to get another one. May be another 10 years or so. Sure wish I had the cash/parking space for this awesome ride!

In the 60's all my fathers cars were door dinged on the right side only.... My mom parked on the right side of the garage Oblivious (we think) to what she was doing.

The front and rear height looks even, most seem to sit a little lower in the front, I like this stance a lot

Are these cars proven legit milage? My pops had car shops for years, and fake out the milage is pretty easy on these older cars. Dad never would do it,but I know the stories of car dealers tricks..

Why is the dash Grey and the rest of the interior tan? As far as options at least for the 2010 heated seats, adjustable pedals, wood and leather steering wheel and the AM/FM, CD, Cassette premium SAT enabled radio.

I can't get over the oil change intervals performed on this car!!! I saw 1 or 2 that they weren't even 1k miles since last oil change to go and change it again! This is better than a brand new car! A time capsule 4sure!!

Same here, Anthony. Other than the muscle cars, there are very few cars currently in production I would buy. Pretty much everything these days is a lame crossover or some boring FWD 4-cylinder shit box or both. However, the European and Asian companies still build some cool V8 RWD cars I wouldn't mind driving, but they're way too expensive and fancy for my taste.

Anthony that little red carpet stain is likely Juicy Juice like I gave my kids in the 1980s. I have detailed cars professionally since the late 70s. Those red juice stains will not cone out completely. I have a 2003 Grand Marquis I bought in 2008 with 7,000 actual miles. Today it has 141,000 likes and still perfect. One of the best cars ever. I want the 2010. How much.

1985, 2005 ,2011 and 2019 were all end of the eras. 1985 most full sized rear drive cars end/ 2005 Full sized front wheel GM cars went away. 2011 end of Ford Full size line up and 2 door Ranger / 2019 Full size sedans and all V6 sedans across the industry end. Now all we have is cramped tech crazy over priced cars.

I just bought a 2002 Grand Marquis LS precision Trac one owner hundred thirty-five thousand miles I got it for 2500 you probably got the Grand Marquis for cheap I can only imagine what you'll sell it for but nice car I think the Grand Marquis was one of the best ever built with the 4.6
