So just wanted to thank you for the video. I went to a junk yard and found a car that was there with the airbag deployed so I figure it was running at that time. I put it in then drove it and it did not shift at all. Just low gear so I thought it was bad then the light turn on in my head that it was not grounded. Bolted it in and success! Shift great and saves me thousands. Same symptom's of no park or neutral. Great video so remember to ground the tcm or it will not shift.

I have a 96 Honda Accord 4 door with a 2.2 and the transmission started shifting weird so I cleaned the shifting solenoid and it got worse to the point we're it won't go into any gear it's constantly in neutral so I put a new one on it and still nothing. Fluid is good and has good color. Could it be the transmission control module?

Idk only thing I can think about is removing the fuses......so it can reset then put them back in.....

I'm having same problem, what did you do to fix, did you have to get another tcm with matching numbers? I have no p or n on shift indicator.

this affect the over drive too?

Instead of getting a computer one after the other that does not work with the car. Just take the model number off the computer and buy one with the same model number and boom no issues. All cars have different features so the computers are made to service that car or only one with the same functions. Went through this with a ford ranger

Our car is not moving and not shifting properly. We bought a used TCM, and it started shifting but it's still not moving. I spoke with Nissan Dealership and they said that there is most likely a problem beyond the TCM if the car is not moving. Is this your experience? You mentioned at the beginning of the video, that the previous owner changed the transmission first. Usually ...... can I car move if the TCM is bad?

I have a 2009 and the car just moves, but i can't speed up into the other gears. It may just be the TCM right?

So mine won't even start, the emergency light just makes the dash light up in the on off sequence, the brake pedal is locked up and only the starter spins.

Is it possible to have Park Reverse Neutral in the display with a bad TCM ?

Every model.have tcm no or code so no try many used others just bring one like the number of the original one
