Astra G opc2 is better . I got both . My G has 2.0 turbo with 300 bhp and my Vectra has 2.0 turbo with 176 bhp

I have a 2004 Vectra C 1.9, it's a great car overall,its pretty comfortable to drive, has a lot of features for its age and the engine has 370k km and didnt have any major issues yet. The only downside to my car is that it had a lot of electrical problems, and by that I mean A LOT of them by basically that's the only issue I had with it

This new Vectra is the first Opel with a CAN bus information electrical system where all parts of the electrical system are interconnected and sends information out into the entire electrical system and it took time to make it work properly, this means that an insignificant little trivial fault in a small electrical contact or connection can interfere with other functions all over the car by sending wrong information, it usually means that 9 errors out of 10 can be false... and only caused by interference in the transfer of information between the various components. As an example: if the electric windows do not work, there is usually nothing wrong with the electric windows... but instead it may be caused by a disruption of the communication... in the electrical system.

The Stationwagon is a Cargowonder. With foldet Backseats down you have 2.05m x1.08m, that's enough space for my disassembled trailer „Koch U2“ to drive quickly from Berlin to Munich, put it together and charge a motorcycle and drive with legal speed back to Berlin.😁😁

Ive owned so many more interesting cars but i don't know what it is but I really miss my vectra 1.8 was such a reliable work horse only 120bhp but that didn't matter as it was bullet proof.

I have the 2005 GTS, with the Saab motor 2.0 Turbo version. It's chiped up to 200HP and launches like a f-ng space shuttle. I've went like 220 kp/h and still had some throttle leeway, so it's like a low budget "supercar" :P

i realize that your comment is 5 months old... but how did the vectra hold up with the Chip tuning? and how much miles/kilometers does it have on the clock? any major engine issues at any point? thinking about chipping mine.

@@aiiimlezzz It's fine. Mine is around 180k AFAIK. Those engines are tough. Just pay attention to regular oil changes every 10 000km and it should be fine. This engine was meant for 210 HP so it has a lot of margin. Also you need to consider swappig out the fuel injectors with some more efficient ones, if you want to go beyond 200HP. If you dont, the chip tune would have no point really, as the standard ones would be the choke point in your system. I wouldn't recommend going more than 230-40 HP though, without hardenig the conn. rods, cylinders etc. or you'll risk an engine self destruct.

@@barten39I said it was the first direct injection engine in Opel not that it was better than previous. In fact, the previous Vectra with the indirect injection and 147 cv offered better performances in almost all measurements. And with more or less the same consum. ¿¿¿¿?????

Have the same car, also 2.2. Happy engine. I think your seat is in the wrong spot. To far away from the wheel. Also your wheels is to high up. Some bent in your arms is normal. My left arm rests on the door, right arm on the middle support. I love that the car is really silent, you have some stuff raddeling. I think the power of the 2.2 is under 4500 rpm, and it is really smooth with the extra balance axcels. Enjoy it!

I have the same car, but with automatic transmission. Honestly, it's a great car until something breaks. Then you're all alone in the middle of the night with a dashboard looking like a Christmas tree. Fuel consumption is horrible too. It also burns oil like crazy.

Dlatego lepiej zainwestować w 2.0 T. Spalanie na podobnym poziomie, a większa nominalna moc i nie ma wtrysku bezpośredniego który praktycznie eliminuje ewentualne dołożenie instalacji lpg...

Przy standardowej 5-biegowej 1.8 (140 psi) niestety przy wyższych obrotach (prędkościach również) jest dość hałaśliwa, ale tak do 140 km/h chodzi cichutko a na światłach często łapię się na tym, że nie wiem, czy silnik jest w ogóle włączony, czy nie bardzo :-)

2.0 T ma najlepszy stosunek mocy do kosztów utrzymania spośród wszystkich jednostek dostępnych w VC, ma spore możliwości podnoszenia mocy (bez większych problemów można uzyskać 210 koni względem nominalnych 175), lubi się z gazem, ogólnie rzecz biorąc jest to optymalna jednostka jeśli tylko nie oczekujesz wyjątkowo niskiego spalania...

@@Rapman16 Czy koszty naprawy tego silnika oraz samochodu (ogólnie) są wysokie w porównywaniu do koszta auta?Też chciałbym, aby VC była długo ze mną więc modyfikacji nie wykluczam. LPG szczerze też by się przydało, aby na trasię chociaż trochę zaoszczędzić. Dziękuje za pomoc.

@@ChudyTheBest Niestety, przy obecnie galopujących cenach LPG (w pół roku z 2 zł do 2.70) to coraz mniejsza oszczędność. Poza tym, benzyniak solo ma to do siebie, że może i koszty paliwa większe, ale trudniej trafić na rynku na autko "wyżyłowane", bo wiadomo, że Pb+LPG zużywa się jednak szybciej. W VC generalnie mówiąc najlepszy jest ocynk po lifcie. Zero korozji, jedyne co to na wydechu nieco się zbiera, ale cała karoseria jest niemalże jak nowa. Patrząc na to, że to 13-letnie auto, niejeden ma oczy na wierzchu. Co do spalania. Ja mam 1.8 (140 KM) z 2008 (czyli końcówka produkcji, bo z listopada) i w mieszanym cyklu (nie jeżdżę w długie trasy) udało mi się zbić spalanie do 7.7 litra na 100. Przy bardzo dynamicznej jeździe możesz nawet osiągnąć okolice 12l/100, ale średnio wychodzi między 8 a 9.

@@5oku To tak patrząc normalne spalanie i LPG to nie jest pilne, ale przyznam, że lubie zaoszczędzić trochę, a trasy robię 3-4 razy dziennie (jedna trasa 400+km). Więc muszę się zastanowić. Przy tej kwocie znalazłem inne samochody więc jeszcze bardziej się zastanawiam. PS: Dziękuje za odpowiedź.
