It seems like you got the base model, there are options and trims for the 3.5L Honda engine and Transmission that is a huge performance boost, there even is an AWD option which might help you in the snow.

The 3.5 Honda V6 is good indeed but only offered with an autotragic (automatic) transmission. AWD system is a haldex based system which is better than FWD but not very advanced (no lockers, no torque vecotring, etc)

@@midealautoclub so these vehicles had weak transmissions? They one I'm considering also has the Honda engine
@midealautoclub Жыл бұрын
@@tonyyayo2115 Honda engines are good, transmissions sometimes have bad solenoids and on occasion torque converter problems. As long as it shifts smooth when cold it should be fine.

Would u recommend the 5 speed 4 cylinder

Because you had 2 Wheel Dr. that doesn’t happen with four-wheel-drive

4wd is great to help you going but stopping and sliding does not care if you have 2wd or 4wd, it's about center of gravity, suspension geometry, weight and tires.

I'm considering buying a Saturn Vue as cheap SUV. Saw an 07 w a rear main seal leak for under $2200 w 188k miles

4 cylinders or the Honda 3.5LV6? They are not bad SUVs, very simple to work on.

@@midealautoclub seller told me that hers has the 4 cylinder engine. I'm assuming that it is solid since u mentioned it in passing via the video. Have you heard any negative stories about the Saturn's transmission? Have always been a Nissan/Infiniti owner in my lifetime

@@tonyyayo2115 4cylinder engines are great. The 2.2L ecotech from GM is great. Automatic transmissions I have no experience with, 5 speed standard transmissions are fine however when cold they are a little stiff to go through the gears.
