I wrapped a 2008 Accord coupe with the same handle design and it took 3 of us to figure it out. Like you said we were ready to shoot someone hahaha. I'm gonna be rewrapping that car so this is a huge help, thank you!!!!

I love you. I painted my uncles rear door a couple of years ago. Your not kiddin, what a pain in the ass. I ended up throwing every tool across the garage. Funny enough, I got it off but couldn't get it back on rite. It wouldn't close, you had to push it in to close. Then He got into another accident after that and the body shop dealt with it. I actually have to paint it again. Thanks for making this video. I will definitely being using it when I have to do it again.

You're the man! I'm doing the same on an 08 Accord coupe, what an odd design. For the coupe, the rear most window track / guide has to be unbolted then will easily move out of the way of the rear handle section (lock delete) Looked at all angles with the glass out, that bolt is completely hidden and inaccessible with the track there. Hope this comment helps someone else out as your video did for me!

Dude - you saved my ass! I got stuck replacing a handle on my son's 2011 Acura TSX. I'm pretty handy when it comes to doing small repair jobs but this one was a BITCH (your words)! The handle was knocked off so basically I was starting with 2 holes in the door and had no idea where or how that "bitch" of a clip went back in. I spent about 4 hours on this "small" job but would have spent alot longer had it not been for your KZfaq. Thank you so much for posting this!

Thanks for posting this. The door handle on my 2012 Accord would pop out when I tried to open the door. When I got it out, thanks to tips from your video, and when I looked at the replacement handle I purchased, I found that the white clip on the back of the handle pull was gone. Therefore, when I pulled the handle, the hook that rotates the knob that pulls up on the latch rod, would slip out to the side. That white clip must have gotten brittle and broken. It was gone. Again, thanks for the video. It saved me a lot of time, frustration, and the money I would have paid to have it installed.
