Wanted to show you "Do It Yourselfers" a quick and fairly easy way to replace your engine oil cooler on your 2008-2013 Nissan Rogue and save thousands of dollars while learning in the process. Hope you find this video helpful. Thanks for Watching! Good Luck!

Just so you know. They make a two gasket kit for the oil cooler. The mounting gasket and also a gasket in between the two plates on the old.oil cooler. The cooler is just a piece of passages so there are no bearings or anything. You can simply remove the 4 bolts that hold together the pressure plate and replace the internal gasket/o ring which tends to compress over time. This is where the leak occurs. I think the gasket kit is pretty cheap. Once you have cooler apart, just clean it off and reassemble

Hello I found a oil cooler on amazon similar to this one but says it worn fit my 2012 nissan rogue. The one that says will fit looks more like a cylinder siting on a square Its from BOXI. would you recommend getting the one you got or the cylinder looking one.

I just looked it up on Amazon and the one from Boxi looks exactly the same as the one I purchased but I would message the seller with specifics on vehicle to be sure. Also you'll have to purchase the Mahle B32528 gasket separately. (Unfortunately the exact oil cooler I purchased is unavailable). Good luck 👍

It was leaking oil really bad around the oil cooler corners. You can see it well at the 6:00 mark in the video.

Where did you order the part for the new engine oil cooler ?? And is it necessarily to change the oil gaskets too? Cuz I'm dealing with the same problem with my 2013 Nissan rogue. I thought it was the sensor but right after I replaced it I came into the same problem as I am looking at in this video that you have solved I just need to know where to buy the new engine oil cooler and is it necessarily to replace the gaskets if they haven't been replaced?

I purchased the oil cooler from Amazon.com. I would definitely recommend replacing the gasket so that you don't have to do the job twice. Cheap insurance.

I wonder, to replace these parts. Do you need to drain out all the coolant and engine oil?.

No need to drain oil. There will be some residual oil when you pull the cooler but that's normal. Same with coolant. I chose to drain oil because it was time for oil change anyways.

I believe mine is leaking oil into the cooling system

Coolant does run through it I'm assuming to cool the oil, it could have busted one of the separated walls allowing oil to pass through the coolant passageway. Hope you get it lined out.

Did you fix the problem with the coolant mix with oil? Im having the same problem
