To everyone with V6s out there...no matter if its a tuner or American, NEVER straight pipe it. It's literally just noise...no growl, just rasp. You can find decent mufflers and setups out there that sound good. Just cutting everything off isn't the way to go. I'm convinced that anyone that has a V6 and just wants it "loud as possible" is a troll at this point.

I have a v6 straight piped but it doesn’t sound like a trumpet because of downpipes. It has a low growl until higher rpms and even then it doesn’t sound like a trumpet lol. It depends on the car and tuning setup.

You cannot straight pipe a V-6, its always gonna sound awful. Get a good resonator, itll still be loud but itll dramatically clean up the sound

I have the exact same car, I went with 2 flow master 40's and an X pipe. It sounds pretty good for a V6, in my opinion

I don't mind the str8 pipe because the 4.0 is one of the best sounding V6s when its setup right, but gosh not the turn downs under the cab. If you are not racing, that's just a huge, daily rattle trap. My brother has a 2017 V6 Mustang, he loves it stock lol. I only suggest a little muffler delete just to get a little more noise. This 4.0 just needs a H or X pipe and extend the exhaust out the back.

My 1st car was a 05 v6 mustang i only remove the suit case and true dual it with on tip on each side and i put 4 inch tiips it was loud for me till i rusted by a v8 mustang which it was 10 times louder
