I have no clue why people use Flowmaster their products aren't very good I personally think borla is better. Ford was stupid for getting rid of the cyclone 3.7 v6. Wait did that silver v6 have a gt badge lol 😆

Straight pipes needed a crossover x or h, at least to sound better. The Roush sounded best at idle and revving, under load, the flowmaster sounded pretty good. Anyhow, to each their own!

Would X or H be deeper and take some of the rasp out? I have that exact car they straight piped and wondering where I should start. I love the volume and aggression but it was a little raspy for me

My little brother has a 2017 V6 Mustang. Trying to convince him to change his exhaust. I really like the Roush on this one.

I will go with roush because straight pipes was too raspy at the end, and flowmaster outlaw was good but i think there was a little bit of rasp i could hear but i'm not sure actually, so that's why i am choosing roush because it sounds perfect to be honest

The Roush and Flowmaster are close but I have to pick Roush overall. The Flowmaster is too raspy on takeoff. The "straight pipe/muffler delete" sound like garbage. Needs a x-pipe. They should have never got rid of the Cyclone V6 for the Ecoboost 4 cylinder. PS.... Neither Mustang has the full GT badge on the back. They have the medallion with the "GT" lettering removed.

My Lincoln mkz has essentially the same engine but it's mounted different and I'm really considering putting a flowmaster on it for shits and giggles. It's the only car I've ever owned with a quiet exhaust. Thanks for giving me some examples of what it might sound like. Who knew exhaust videos would be so entertaining.

@@yeahright528are a used a set of knockoff BBK shorty headers off of a 3.7 l and then cut and modified some of the runners to fit around my all-wheel it was definitely an on and off procedure but they're now on their

I prefer the tone of the V6 with a nice exhaust tbh, I like higher pitched exhaust tones

the muffler delete really needs an x pipe to make it sound better. probably make a little more power with an x pipe too

The straight pioes is auto too lol. I dont like that one. Toss up between the Roush and Flowmaster. Think i like the Flowmaster better.

The Ford Cyclones V6 sound good unless you do an exhaust on them without a crossover, then they sound like garbage! BTW, the exhaust system done on the black mustang was done horribly!

So much sound experience is lost on automatics vs manual. For the life of me i can never understand why a car enthusiasts not want that feel , sound and connection with the machine by running up and down gears . Sucks a bit in traffic but who cares. Its what drivings all about

I live my manuals. If I ever bought an auto (which I wouldn't, one more thing to break and boooring) I definitely wouldn't put an exhaust on it. Only sounds proper on a manual.
