im deciding between a volvo c30 1.6 petrol and this 1.8 type s civic. Both manual and insurance prices are similar. what would u reccomend.

Actually I use to have c30.. so volvo much softer and maybe quieter... civic more sportier . But that 1.6 volvo engine are made by ford and you will have some issues with him also it's slow... hard to tell

For a first car I think it's great. It is okayish speed wise especially in manual mode.. it likes to rev so its fun and it's light and stiff so you can chuck it round bends
