Those isolators don't look like they retain the spring as well. Stacking would have helped.

Possibly. As-is they're still working fine

How large of wheel spacers were required to run those wheels?

None. They only needed the ball joint stud trimmed and caliper casting lines ground down a bit (google it). I have since put a very thin 3mm spacer because the tires rubbed the fender at full lock.
