I am installing a Grom BT-3 bluetooth unit today, and this video was exactly what I needed. Like you said, there isn't a lot of documentation on how to get this dash apart. You saved me a bunch of time and research this afternoon. Thank you!!!

Thanks for this!!! Nothing worse than breaking a plastic dash piece because you tweaked it in the wrong direction. Simple if you know what to do. Now I do!!! 👍

Great vid... I'll be pulling mine to install the Garmin add on w/touch screen and an Axxess MLink. Now to figure out how to get the audio input without using the Aux jack.

Hi my 2010 pathfinder LE have problem with the A/C and the Heater. I use the A/C system self diagnosis function, the code was (climate control 57) and it says that is the intake sensor. do you know where I can find this sensor? Also where i can buy the tool that you are using to take the panel out thank you.

I have a 2009 LE with a single CD player but I do like to replace with the Bose 6 CD changer and Navigation. Is that possible? Is my vehicle wires and cables designed to accommodate either the 2008 - 2010 dash console? Note: with just visual look at this video's 2008 dash/navigation it looks just like my 2009 LE dash console.

Perfect..thanks. My V8 pathfinder is in Florida and the screen looks like it is burned from sun and heat and I can't see very well...any suggestions to make visible?

I'm a little late to the game but have a question. I want to install a single din car play screen unit. Does the cd/controls portion of the console come out? I noticed that the silver unit looks like there is potential for it? Or would I have to install it where the aux portion of the console is?

I wonder if you can downgrade the dash from the SE to the LE or base model to be able to use an aftermarket unit, since the AC and other features are used by the display (or maybe the computer?).

HI, thanks for this video. I have the same stereo in my 2011. I love my Pathfinder but I really dont like the stereo and I can only get bluetooth if I put a receiver in the aux jack so my question is, can you remove the radio only? Or is the HVAC system dependent on it somehow. If only the backup cam works on the screen I can live with that. Thanks

Martin, you'll have to check with a Best Buy or car audio shop if it's able to upgrade the radio/mp3 head unit

Hello there. ..I am facing a problem with my diaplay in my pathfinder 2010 SE. It's totally black out but the only thing that seems to be work is the rear view camera. I have taken it to the dealer and they had concluded that I change the whole unit that wide cost me approx 3200 usd. That's a huge amount. I have tried other places and they have all suggested I go for a replace with a second hand unit. Am surprised that the screen alone is not replaceable. Any suggestions? ??

+Hear me out That is a very strange issue. So once in reverse, the screen lights up with the view of the camera right away? The screen alone IS replaceable. Just take yours out, write down the model numbers or take a pic with your phone, and hit eBay for another screen unit. There are plenty to choose from. But if your camera turns the LCD on and works fine, and for some reason all your radio and climate controls are not showing on the screen anymore, it sounds like a more serious issue.

Thats true...it is indeed a serious issue. They have suggested that I replace the whole unit. The screen alone isn't replaceable.I had tried that option. Am surprised myself.

question can you mess up your air bag sensor light in this process?

Maybe if you forgot to plug in one of the harnesses before you turned the ignition back on.. that's really the only possibility.

+DEODATH BIRBAL I had this same problem of the airbag indication flashing. ...what I had got done is take it to a garage that does the vehicle testing by means of a computer that checks the whole vehicle. There is code break that can be done and then the problem is solved

Any idea what the part number is for the blue tip below the shift knob? I broke it and cant seem to find the part number.

I hate to say it but that would be part of the shift rod, Nissan will need to sell you the entire shifter rod assembly because the blue tip is built into it.

What’s the name of the black box behind the screen? That’s what I’m trying to replace.

Not sure what you mean David. The box attached to the back of the screen is silver, and part of the screen. Not sure about a black box behind the screen.
