It looks like the unit is the BOSS BE 8 ACP, a single din not the BE 7 ACP which is a double din. I went looking for it and realized that. Good vid thanks for the info.

Yo. Power to the camera... was yours all of like 2 ft long? Where did you wire to? It has the female camera power wire at the headunit, so i assumed it runs all the way up, the video input wire is 15 ft.. but the power i received is 2ft.. Can i just run whatever length remaining as long as its the same gauge wire?

@@patrickeckart1685 hey what’s going on. You should have an rca male on both ends and coming out the rca head is a little red wire. That red wire at the camera connects to red from camera. The other end little red wire hooks up to radio reverse trigger wire. At the radio you will have three. The radios reverse wire, what ever wiring harness you have reverse wire and the red from rca. At license plate. You will have two reds. One from rca end and camera the 2 foot black and red you see. No need to ground. The rca ground internal is good Have questions text 3143411266

Where did you buy it cause Im planning on buying a used beetle 08 or a 2010 as my first car hopefully buy next year. I'm saving money right now. Also does it have navigation on it? If it doesn't then that's ok because I like to use Waze more on apple care play. Lastly, can you show us how you installed it as well? Thanks! 🙂

With this brand of radio. You can bypass it by grounding it. Just can add it to the ground wiring. Want to say the PINK wire is the parking wire *****JMS Isn’t Responsible For Customers Bypassing the Parking Wires On Aftermarket Radios. @@JMSAudioSTL it is the same Boss Elite radio BETACP-SD. Not putting a camera on it. I know on my pioneer you had to by that special adapter. So with the Boss all I have to do is ground it?
