It looks like the unit is the BOSS BE 8 ACP, a single din not the BE 7 ACP which is a double din. I went looking for it and realized that. Good vid thanks for the info.

Hey how’s it going. On this application we didn’t retain that. But can when the customer would sell the car. Basically cut wires for factory sub and put butt connectors on each end. So like plug and play. When I take the aftermarket wire leads off I can connect factory back together

With this brand of radio. You can bypass it by grounding it. Just can add it to the ground wiring. Great idea screwing them in, seems pretty harmless. I don’t think id sacrifice a drawer by cutting it up though, I would just cut the socket rail shorter. I was really contemplating on buying the Packout ratchet set because I hate how things just float around in the drawers. Thanks for this

Nice setup there! Cleanest and most compact socket storage I've seen for the packout. I made some heavy duty dividers for mine out of 1/8" aluminum and think it worked out well. For compact wrench storage i really like the DIY coiled wire wrench racks.

Hey with the Bose factory system I have eliminated it with the NavTV module. That is giving me all my signals I need to feed to my 4.800 amp. @@JMSAudioSTL OK yes I am planning to do the same thing right now I’m just running 2 12 under the seat through an LC2i converter but when checking the output of the factory head unit with the SMD DD1+ the radio is distorting at volume 36 if you count clicks out of 63 which kind of sucks so I was looking into possibly changing the head unit but really can’t find much for 19 GMC 1500 Denali seems it’s either 14 through 18 on the 1500s And 14 through 19 on the 2500 s Still looking into it but haven’t had much luck On why all the kits are labeled that way would hate to order it and have it not work

@@JMSAudioSTL I hope so.... because those fronts ain't 'singing'. My installer actually told me he measured those ML fronts at almost 8ohm each. .....I even unplugged the front center channel. Soundstage was a significantly wider.

The brackets are just radio brackets that were in a radio I installed for someone. The screws are just self tappers Phillips or hex head The board to hold the amps, is pvc board

Foam I cut it all out. Besides the ends. The pvc board what I did was. I took all the amps and converter off back wall. Then I press in gentle into the studs on the the board to get the factory locations and used the same bolts. But in the top I didn’t like the flex I was getting. I used those brackets to give more strength

No the back of the seat isn’t supported by that. That’s for the louvers on back wall so you don’t hear the noise that much

I have two quesitons 1) can you make handfree call buttons work on your steering wheel? I tried "steering learn" feature in the car setting, but no luck 2)can you chagne the home screen Navi app from km/h to miles/hr in the software? appreciate your help

Hey Sterring button for call you can’t but I know when phone plugged up for Android auto or CarPlay. Your phone will still work in voice assist. For the km/h to miles/hr. That’s in the same settings of the clock time or it’s in the Navi settings. The customer I actually installed this for, she is swapping hers out due to the screen was flickering and cord usb not working no more. Also backup camera signal is working one day and next not. That’s for all the things going wrong. Like it got a kind of it own. She purchased another style with better reviews

@@mtbmusic4715 i highly suggest that. I would also do a rca video cable plug with bare wire ends on it. So tapping into those wires is better. So you don’t have to undo a rca cable to get ground and positive

Thx for sharing. Any thoughts on how to label the wrench sizes that are in the foam? I’ve seen others lay the wrench flat making the size stamping visible, but it does take up more room. So many of these little details to work out….

We disconnected it. Be careful in the panels. They are brittle. Take your time. And also make sure you ground it to a good spot
