Highlighting upgrades that contributed to improving my riding. Obviously, there are other factors that play a bigger role in improving my riding. But, these did play a factor in making that improvement happen.

This video came up in my feed. I was trying to relax so I could fall asleep. I think I clicked on it mostly due to R6 in the title. Wow, was I surprised at how good this video is. Lots of great information, and the edit and format was really great too

I really appreciate this video because you made two mods to your R6 that I’m thinking about making to mine (2006 R6) and those are the chain and gears as well as the clip-ons. I see that one of your viewers is against changing clip-ons but I just feel the position could be better and you can’t angle them forward with OEM clip-ons. And the gearing for the exact reasons you stated; the bike feels sluggish coming out of the hairpins. I enjoyed watching your race for those last two laps. I found myself cheering for you! If you ever come to Calabogie to ride, be sure to let me know. Would be cool to hang out at the track. Keep up the racing and the vids.

Thank you so much!! Truly appreciate your comment. And yea the clipon was so worth it. I've never tried bogie but have heard nothing but great things about it. Would love to give it a try at some point. And that last 2 laps actually has alot at stake, lol. I was up against a very good friend of mine. We always pit together, he coaches me from time to time and he's a pro rider. So I didn't mind losing to him even though I lost by 0.003 of a sec.

@@BAF-Racing not sure where you race but they must be some tight tracks. On the east coast I was running 16/44 and 16/45 last year as an expert. I'd run out of steam on a lot of track if I was geared that short. I do plan on playing with 16/46 next season tho. About as short I plan to go.

With the brake master, can you retain stock reservoir and hoses or do you need to swap them as well? Just starting to get into tracking my 2010 and trying to get it to a good point.
@BAF-Racing
@BAF-Racing 7 ай бұрын
Yea, the reservoir and hoses will stay, although the hoses might need to be changed depending on how you want to mount your brake master, may need a longer hose. Honestly, having a good brake master makes a huge difference in terms of consistency and building that confidence.

Look up David Moss if you want to go fast instead of less slow. Tires and suspension is all you need to know at this level. Edit- Leverage on the clipons is not good, loose, light like holding an umbrella. Any body who adds aftermarket clip ons for more power on the controls is internet.
