Our 2009 Hyundai Accent had was flashing at an inconsistent rate (speeding up and slowing down) for the left turn signal only. Replacing this signal relay fixed the problem! Thank you Jim, this video made it a lot easier!

Hola Leonardo, El relay de las direccionales (flasher), esta dentras de ese panel de fusibles . Es dificil alcanzarlo, pero esta detras de los fusibles y entre los cables.

Gracias..en efecto como le comente..ya accedí a los fucibles.. Por la parte de atrás..pero donde dises que esta el flacheador..no esta. O no lo trae..esta el hueco que señalas. Pero no lo trae..y estoy confundido..como esque funcionaba? Este accent es 2010 con apertura de seguros a distancia..cuando activo los seguros de las puertas se prenden las intermitentes de atrás y delante incluso en el tablero. ..ya revisaron palanca de direccionales y botón de intermitentes y están bien hay corriente.. La verdad estoy confundido..no se como esque funcionaban sin ese destellador.. Gracias

mis intermitentes no sirven, dejaron de parpadear, es raro porque al quitar la pieza donde van los fusibles no tiene el relay del video, sabes si por default no lo trae y cuando se descomponen se tiene que colocar???? o alguien que sepa

I have a 2013 Accent. My left turn signal flashes really fast (at a normal rate in rare occasions). I replaced the turn signal bulbs but the problem is still there. Could replacing the flasher fix the problem?

Usually the rapid flashing is an indicator of a burnt signal bulb. If the bulb is the old filament type... they tend to temporarily fix themselves back into contact at the broken point; giving you the impression of non-broken one. I will change all 4 signalling bulbs before replacing the flasher. The flasher itself it's not that expensive either and they do wear out and become non-flashing usually rather than erratic flashing.

Usually that kind of indication, yields to a burnt light bulb. Although is it plausible that the relay is getting weaker. Is the flashing fastest on your right or left turning signal? What about when you turn your hazard lights on? Sometimes you have a split filament on one of the bulbs that will separate for few seconds when you shake it or pass a bump on the road.

I changed the relay and nothing is happening, no flasher no signal lights. Dead as it could be and i can not drive the car with no signals

Check if you are getting 12V to the Relay harness...

Hola buen día..no ablo ingles..podría traducirme lo que dise..tengo un accent..2010 ya hise lo que ases ..ya desarme todo ..pero no encuentro el flacher que traes en la mano..i mi carro no las trae..si funcionaban las intermitentes y direccionales pero dejaron de funcionar ..y ya desarme todo y en el lugar que dises no hay nada. Estoy confundido..gracias

The flasher relay always work independently from the ICM...

I looked at the back of the fuse block as you did and there's no flasher relay at the back.

@@thedagman4056 not 100% sure where do Hyundai moved the flasher to? But it has to be under the steering column or by the left foot/clutch plastic cover... sorry I can’t help you better with this.
