find out in Amazon, how much does it cost the whole hose and clip kit? I think you can find it for under $20 but I will go to Try Chevrolet Please dealership and find out how much they're gonna charge you for the clip. Also, you can try these dormant part on Amazon for about $15... Brand: Dorman 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars 3 Dorman 66264: Coolant Connector Clip. but honestly, at this point I think will be better if you just buy the whole replacing hose and clip in included no more than $20 in amazon

I think with the recirc flap out there will be a steady stream of outside air coming in from the outside and then through the place where the door used to lay blocking the place behind the glovebox. When the car is moving fast down the highway or has a headwind blowing at it. If the system is right the door blocks the outside air coming in OR blocks the recirc place behind the glovebox. Preventing a chilly draft in winter or a draft of hot humid air in summer even when the air conditioner is running. I wish I knew a way to stop electricity from getting to the actuator motor that makes that door move back and forth trying to break it every time you turn the car off. I wish you could just put the thing one way or the other and unplug the stupid motor that always messes with the door position even if you don't push the recirc button. (I know how to unplug the wire to the front blend door motor and have mine juryrigged so the front blend door motor turns the back blend door also,the back door motor just spins not turning the axle anymore. I put a one piece metal axle in there.) I hook up the wire to change it to hot or cold and then unhook the wire so the motor won't burn up.
@thekashgarage
@thekashgarage 11 ай бұрын
That is a good idea to manually use a wire to move it! All the one I have seen had the hinge broken, blocking ambient air. That door is only activated when you push the inclosed recirculating air-only to block any outside air from coming in.

I have a 2013 Accent. My left turn signal flashes really fast (at a normal rate in rare occasions). I replaced the turn signal bulbs but the problem is still there. Could replacing the flasher fix the problem?
@thekashgarage
@thekashgarage Жыл бұрын
Usually the rapid flashing is an indicator of a burnt signal bulb. If the bulb is the old filament type... they tend to temporarily fix themselves back into contact at the broken point; giving you the impression of non-broken one. I will change all 4 signalling bulbs before replacing the flasher. The flasher itself it's not that expensive either and they do wear out and become non-flashing usually rather than erratic flashing.

I have a 2014 Chevy Cruze with 1.4L engine it has 180,000 mile. I have been getting a P0420 code. I would go away and come back. Before replacing any parts try this. I fixed it just by disconnecting the Negative side on the battery 1st. Now find the computer it’s on the side where the battery is. It’s has 3 connectors on it. I disconnected all 3 connectors and cleaned each side male and female connector with CRC 05103 QD Electronic Cleaner. Let it dry 15 minutes. I plugged all 3 back in. I installed negative battery cable. I started and drove the car 50 miles. Update The P0420 came back 2 days later. I will look at the O2 Sensors next.

So for my Chevy Cruze that same thing broke but from a different spot and I see that you have a valve that connects well the holes I had had the same valve already connected on the hose so like if I try to put it on with the that valve on the cruise it basically wouldn't fit so I had to take that valve off to push it in all the way and then it fit so I don't know if I did it wrong I'm just confused right now

The P0420 Code indicates that your car's computer has detected underperformance from the Bank 1 catalytic converter.May 19, 2021” Bank 1 refers to the Upstream O2 sensor, which seems to be the culprit in over 80% of the cases.
