Sound good! After the first play, I realized I had my play speed up to 1.25 😂.

🤣 why would I speed it up to 255bpm if the title reads: 200bpm?
@111MikeyP3 ай бұрын
@@EdgarDRMS 😂😅 it was my own fault for keeping the play speed at x1.25. I was like “that sounds really fast for 200BPM.” 😂 very clean.

That's tight!!! 💪🏾💪🏾 do you use tight spring tension?
@EdgarDRMS Жыл бұрын
Currently I’m trying to get used to the max tension. But this video was filmed with a 3/4 tensión of the spring
@Alexdrummer093 ай бұрын
Thanks for the video. I was once again convinced that I was doing everything correctly, the technique is called the foot technique, but in fact the whole leg works, it’s just the foot and the front muscle of the leg that work the most, as far as I understand.
@suspicionofdeceit17 күн бұрын
Wrong, it's the calf muscle.

Dude, everything sounds perfect, technique, tempo. How your kit sounds, your camera, is the least of it. The same for me everything is more than fine. Could you upload a video with your low speed ankle technique?

Clean! I also have the Speed Cobras. What settings do you use? (Spring tension, beater and plate angle, and so on)
@EdgarDRMS5 ай бұрын
Spring tension in this video almost at its fullest. Beater angle like 45 degrees… Plate 17 degrees (needed to use the iPhone app to know this 😂)

My problem is that my legs keep spazzing out like they're having a stroke and they loose coordination. I'd love to know if you have any tip (besides practicing) that'll help me coordinate better Also, 60fps is a great choice for drumming!

SAME HERE!!! Been playing for almost 20 years but ive been working on fast double pedal for only a year. My left leg is weirdly ok haha, I can get it to relax and play 200bpm with just ankle motion. As far as my right leg goes, I guess ive been using it for such a long time playing basic pop and gospel grooves, that I already got it used to full leg motion, so when I try to relax my upper leg, it starts spazzing out and I lose all my control
@EdgarDRMS5 ай бұрын
First… in which moment you get to that spazzing moment in your legs? Let’s suppose it’s at 200 bpm… if your legs begin doing that in the momenti you reach 200bpm but let’s say you don’t get that stroke when doing 190bpm then I would recommend to spent more time and get more accuracy in that 190’s…or try to play at 180bpm for 5 to 10 minutes without stopping. Or try to work with some light ankle weights… just to help you a little with the stability. Last but not least work in understanding the motion.. this is fundamental… try to do it without the pedal and by that I mean on the floor…. Practice will not mean anything without the correct understanding of the movement. Hope this helps!

It's like around 175, my upper leg automatically activates itself trying to compensate for my lack of ability to enable the ankle motion that my left foot can actually do... I need to find a way to consciously relax my thigh muscle... Basically I can go up to 210 with my left foot but my right leg is still stuck at maybe 180 before it completely collapse

It's good but honestly it sounds like a hello kitty kit played very fast. It's very shallow for the bass drum and sounded like you were beating a tin can for time.
@EdgarDRMS Жыл бұрын
You are right, that’s the camera audio. I filmed it with a GoPro hero 7 and it has this kinda filter when you go over certain db it activates and makes this filtered audio. (And my drums are this classic cheap model you find at any Music Store which brand name you’ve never heard of 😅)
