The purpose of this video is to show what happens when you attempt to do this upgrade when sourcing your own parts from the salvage yard or eBay, without the purchase of the proper wiring harness kit or radio programming.

i have a 2010 camaro rs and i just bearly bought my link stereo on a yunk yard do you think it will be able to work on mine if i buy the whole kit?

If you bought the parts from a salvage yard, it will work as long as the parts you bought are good #1, and then you will need harnessing and radio work done, just like shown in the video

I just got ahold of a 2013 Mylink at a junk yard. I’ve got the radio and head unit, would i just need the harness that you supply on the website to make it work? or could i slap that sucker right in

You will need a harness kit, and the Radio Module will need special programming to work in your Camaro. www.gm-navigation.com/shop/chevy-camaro-mylink-harness-kit/

Where do you put the door lock to open the doors ?

You lose those with the upgrade.

Does this radio have Bluetooth connection? And can you connect your phone to it for hand free speak if someone calls? I have the green screen radio now and the Bluetooth works but I don't think you can use the the radio to talk to people.
