If code p1516 or p2101 pops up clean the throttle body using a the soft end of a screw driver to hold it open not a hammer

I have a 2012 impala Lt I just put a brand new throttle body on there and I’m still getting the “starting disable throttle service” light.

I have 2010 same car but mine when you drive it slows down shuts off starts backup can't figure out the problem

It turnt my car off and wouldn’t aloud it to start for about 20 minutes than it started is that the same thing cause mines said service throttle body

@@tumashedrick I had got a new throttle body a couple months ago i just got out the car the code I get is p0340 camshaft position sensor A is that why it’s turning it off

Sometimes the 5 bolts on the intake filter is loose and get air in the engine and can trigger that code just make sure they are tight , common problem in chevys check out “Rodney Bissell” for fix

How do you clean it or take it to a mechanic?

I sprayed parts cleaner or break cleaner in it and used a rag and wiped in side of it really good the gaskets need to be replaced on the motor because it has a bad oil leak which is what is causing it get dirty like that

All I did was clean the throttle body the huge hole took a rag and brake cleaner and cleaned the inside of it and cleaned the electrical connectors of any dirt and debris
