Honestly life saver. I thought I would have to compress the spring. Thank you.

This info is great. I really appreciate it. I have a 2011. I had a question, if my passenger side front tire started cupping or scalloping, how could you determine whether it was the suspension, alignment or the wheel hub itself? Wasn’t sure if you had any idea on that.

I can’t say I’ve ever seen a suspension problem cause tire cupping, especially on a straight axle. I’d say your alignment is off or like you said a bearing. Take it to a shop and have them check it.

Ball joints or tie rod ends?

The shock turns on mine when you try to loosen the top bolt on the shock. It's got a square head on the stem. Somehow have to hold the top stem of the shock from turning while loosening the bolt. Idk how you just took the bolt off with a socket. And I have stock shocks on my 2010 dodge 2500.

I used a ratcheting wrench and a small open end on the top… not a lot of room for two hands
