Very good video. I liked your idea of using the zip tie to keep the connectors from falling into the tank and that also helped you keep the same orientation. Thanks for posting.

I cannot find any video for my car A 2007 CLK350 Convertible so watched this one..... very informative apart from not seeing you getting it out.....looked a bit tricky....apart from that very good and hope it is the same for my car... we will see...thank you.

Yeah it’s a pain to get out!! You have to wiggle around to find right angle and push against one side ……..good luck 👍

@@YMNFL for me it was the plug from bottom wasn’t fully clicked in , so the outside of the tank plug wasn’t getting a proper reading

I used my Milwaukee and ripped a screw right off while putting the screw's back on. Use a small wrench and hand tighten.

Great Video, I have E200 CGI 2010 model ,it crank but not starting, i am suspecting the fuel pump, because it has stopped while i was driving, please advise?

If you changed the filter make sure you check the pressure gauge on the bottom of the filter. I put mines on wrong the first time and the car wouldn’t start. I went back, took it off, put the o ring on it then placed it back into the bottom hole. You should hear a pop noise letting you know it properly seated/ sealed

Did you epoxy because it cracked? I've been smelling gas lately. I pulled the seat up and gas was leaking out of cracks in the top.

Exactly….it smells when u fill up tank …because gas it contacting top of tank and that cap has hairline cracks …….

@@SVXistance I figured. I'll tackle it this weekend. I hit a pothole really hard about a week ago. So hard that I actually pulled over to make sure the suspension wasn't bent or anything else harmed. I'll bet that jolt cracked it. Thanks a lot!
