All the free speech means is you won’t be thrown in jail for saying something. It doesn’t mean there won’t be any consequences for what you say or do to an official at a NASCAR event. This is why I enjoyed watching Kyle’s engine blow up at the Daytona 500! Then the jerk kept on driving around the track while smoking laying down a bunch of oil on the track no doubt.

Dale did it in such a way that it got ppl loose or turned without em getting hurt or killed. KB, Carl Edwards, etc do it recklessly and guys get hurt like when logano took out Denny Hamlin at California.

And plus to add on that Dale at times would show some good sportsmanship like for example at Talladega in 1993 he spun Rusty Wallace and Rusty flew and crashed and this was before rooflaps but the crash was so bad and Dale drove to his wrecked car to see if Rusty was okay

@ethanweeter27322 жыл бұрын
The middle finger is not freedom of speech. NASCAR has a code of conduct you sign each year. One of them is language towards an official.
@nascarfanatic24252 жыл бұрын
@@ethanweeter2732 It's still freedom of speech. It's just not protected by NASCAR. You can't go to jail for flipping the bird, but you can be fined by NASCAR; especially since you're on national television. I mean, apparently that's not penalized anymore, given that Denny Hamlin wasn't fined for dropping the F bomb on NBC and can be seen flipping both birds at Alex Bowman during his victory celebration, but I get the code of conduct.
@caleb50511 жыл бұрын
Now I honestly don't think he should have been put two laps down for this, how many times do you see a head coach in NFL football giving the referee an ear full and blatantly saying things like "That call was fucking bullshit!" I'm sure a head coach has told a ref to fuck off more than once in NFL football before. It's not like Kyle could have got out and told the official it was bullshit... I hate Kyle, but this call was kind of bullshit in my opinion by Nascar.
