Great video! I'm looking at doing this, I've replaced my brake pads several times but never the rotors, I have the same vehicle. Its about $350 at the shop vs about $75 DIY

Use a deadblow hammer or a wooden block on the rotor to loosen it. Good video.

Unless the car is as old as the hills , bleeding the brake oil just to et rid of the old stuff to me is a waste of time . I have never had to replace my calipers ever , I find as long as you never let your pads get extremely low that your caliper is not extended way to far out. And putting gease behind the sliders to me makes very little sense since there fixed into there position any how. And I believe you should file or grind some of the ends of the pads at least take some of the squareness of each end , that guarantees the pads to slide freely. Some things are complete over kil , and I wonder whether some places or people like over killers to be able to charge people way more money for the job.

Show you some techniques of how to beat it pretty hard…. 😂
