2005 kid here. We had some of the best kids entertainment and toys out there. Nerf guns hit their apex alongside the tv shows. Hell, I think we 2010s kids were some of the last kids that played outside on the regular.

I feel stupid for growing up in this era and not realizing how fucking elite it was. I’d always bring my 3ds to school and at dismissal, at least 5-10 kids would be watching me play whatever game I’d play, wether it was animal crossing, Pokémon, and even smash bros., they’d all wait and sit. And on the way home some of the best music of the 2010s would play and me and my mom would blast that shit max volume. I miss those days man…

@@rappa236 As children, it's probably natural for them to try to fit in with everyone else to seem "cool" but it's only a part of the growing process. They will look back and cringe at it later in life, but telling them about it now doesn't do much. When they look back at it, they will realize their growth, so it's no use to criticize them now. At least that's what I think, so I don't know how much of that is true. One thing that I've learned about wisdom is that you can't force it--or at least I can't--and although it is delayed, the average human life will keep changing as time progresses. Warning them about the dangers and effects on the world that lie in their hands is only what I can do to help. This is from someone who can admit where I am and knowing that I have no wisdom at all, but can understand some things

I'm surprised he didn’t mention Ben 10. As someone who grew up in the 2010s, I was obsessed with Ben 10, specifically Alien Force and Ultimate Alien. That's the peak Ben 10 era, in my opinion. I watched the shows all the time, got the DVDs, bought some toys, and my mom made me a Ben 10 jacket for Halloween. I consider Ben 10 as an essential part of any 2010s childhood experience.

@@arthurgamerpro6585 I mean, he's technically not wrong though. If you were born in the mid to late 90's like I was (1999) and grew up in the 2000's, you had the benefit of growing up with certain forms of entertainment including leftovers from the 90's like TV shows and whatnot, as well as all the good things the 2000's offered. I remember watching Hey Arnold, Rugrats, Rocko's Modern Life, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Spongebob (early seasons), Ed Edd and Eddy, KND, Foster's Home, etc. Being born in the late 90's gave us the best of both worlds.

Early 2000s/2010s was when media in its entirety peaked. We’ll never have anything quite like it ever again. Even it something even better comes to the next generation, it’ll never hit quite the same as these things did. That’s the beauty, and tragedy, of nostalgia.

I was born in 2004 the late 2000s and early 2010s was fun and nostalgic.we had no worries in the world. Just enjoying life and now we are depressed. wishing to go back to the good ol day.
