This same thing happened on my 2010 Camry se with 245,000 miles on it two weeks ago. Traction control light and check engine lights both came on for no reason whatsoever. All I did was open the gas tank and closed it again, and then I started the car up again and boom the two lights were gone. Still don’t know why it happened but at least it’s gone now 😂

This is amazing. My Audi A3 2011 had way more check engine lights during 3 year period that I own it than yours! I guess your 5k mile oil changes do pay off!

I have the same car same color with the 2.5 liter engine but in a 2010 SE with over 215k miles on the car still running great . Another thing that code is probably po420. Overall, if is that code try using marvel mystery oil in the gas tank.

Should first try a transmission pan drop and change the fluid and filter, should also make it shift little better if the filter is dirty. If you do it yourself should be like 60$ not too difficult

My 2010 Camry with 205k occasionally has the traction control light stay on. Goes away when I restart the car. I can’t find any codes for it. I just ignore it!

I think its true that the code deals with transmission because if i drive long distance sometimes it doesn’t accept R. It doesn’t go back but D is fine. Had the same thing happen to me on my 2011 Camry. Check engine light and traction control light at the same time but ended up being an O2 sensor code.
