In today’s video I will be running through how to install a double din stereo into a 2011 VW transporter. I will be installing the pioneer SPH-DA130DaB using the fascia plate and the wiring harness from Connects2 I will leave a link to the website below

Great video Ryan. I just have two questions. Which one is the fly lead on the stereo? Also my blue wire from the Fakra aerial is currently not attached to anything. Should this be connected somewhere? (Think it may have become disconnected when removed from another vehicle)

Even though the sound is poor, I’ve followed this and my stereo is tip top, one bit to be mindful of which I struggled with was running the switched live/ignition piggy back wire.

What tool do i need and how to extract the unit ? I bought a van with this same PIONEER unit , SPH 160 , i want to attach a rear view camera and my RHS speaker dosnt work , i went to Halfords and bought a " pioneer " pair of LEVERS , but cannot get the blighter out ?

please advise how you connected separate power to fuse box and where did you connect it on the pioneer itself I have similar model so wonder whether it should connect to battery (yellow cable on connector) or ACC (red cable on connector) and what should be the fuse. thx

Can I ask did you connect the green parking brake cable to the handbrake?

This is the best installation tutorial on KZfaq. Thanks for making time to create it. I just need to know one thing. What rating fuse do you use on the piggyback fuse holder? I am guessing that it is a 2 amp fuse? And does the fuse holder plug in to an an empty space in the fuse box? Thanks Andrew.

Brilliant video thanks, just fitting the 160 mode to my 2011 t5 Is there a guide connecting the power I can’t seem to pass the cable to the fuse box

No mention about connecting the reversing camera - what trigger wires to connect?

Reverse light so when the light comes on the camera is activated.

Ignition live from fuse box just get taped in to the normal red live on the harness ?
